Known to many as the "Matisse of Japan," Mayumi Oda has done extensive work with female goddess imagery and the feminine connection to nature. Mayumi has taught creativity and meditation workshops throughout the world.
In addition to her work as an artist, Mayumi has always been an avid gardener. Feeling a deep connection with the mother earth, she has enjoyed growing her own medicinal herbs and vegetables. In 2000 she started Ginger Hill Farm & Retreat Center to share her love of organic farming and cooking with students from all over the world.
You can visit www.mayumioda.net for more information or to purchase her artwork, books and meditation CD's.
