Zachary Nathan and Iris Lami met in Brazil and moved to the Big Island together to run Gingerhill Farm Retreat. Their mission is to create a community dedicated to the exploration and education of wellness and sustainability. They love to exercise and grow food, play with their animals and bask in the sun.
Known to many as the “Matisse of Japan,” our founder, Mayumi Oda, has done extensive work with female goddess imagery and the feminine connection to nature. For the past thirty years, she has worked as an activist against nuclear power and GMO foods. Mayumi has taught creativity and meditation workshops throughout the world.
