Gingerhill Farm is a lush, green oasis nestled in the heart of Hawaii’s natural beauty. Tropical plants, vibrant fruits, and fragrant flowers surround you, immersing you in the essence of the island. Kick off your shoes and wander barefoot along grassy farm trails, discovering the quiet magic of this sacred land.
Our abundant gardens provide the fresh ingredients that nourish our homemade meals, enjoyed together on the ocean-view lanai. As night falls, the soothing chorus of island frogs will lull you to sleep. The Big Island radiates a unique and powerful energy—one that is deeply felt here at Gingerhill, inviting rest, renewal, and reconnection.

Gingerhill offers a variety of flexible, well-equipped spaces to support your retreat or event:
- Commercial-Grade Kitchen – Perfect for preparing anything from intimate meals to large group feasts.
- Outdoor Activity Lawn – A spacious, grassy area ideal for yoga, movement classes, or group activities—whether under the Hawaiian sun or a glowing full moon.
- Indoor Gathering Space – Our main building features a large, open living room with hardwood floors, comfortable seating, and ample room for yoga, meditation, workshops, meals, or meetings.
- Tranquil Garden Studio – Located beside the garden, this quiet, separate space is ideal for yoga, massage, meditation, or any practice that calls for peace and privacy.

Internship Program
Gingerhill Farm is located in the historic town of Kealakekua, just 20 minutes south of Kona and right next to Captain Cook. Adventure is never far— the famous Captain Cook hike is only a 5-minute drive away, and kayaking, surfing, or paddleboarding tours can be easily booked with our friends up the road at Kona Boys.
For a peaceful day by the sea, visit Manini Beach—a quiet, scenic spot just 15 minutes from the farm. Nestled in the heart of Hawaii’s coffee country, we’re surrounded by renowned coffee farms, including our neighbor, Greenwell Farms.
Looking for a local vibe? Kaya’s Coffee House, a Gingerhill favorite, is just 5 minutes away. You’ll also find grocery stores like KTA and Choice Mart close by, along with charming antique shops and local boutiques waiting to be explored.
